For Isa, and every child like her.
Your gift funds BPAN research at Stanford Medicine, the care program at UF Health, and support for families facing childhood dementia. Isa's family covers operating costs, so 100% goes to the mission.
Why Your Support Matters
Isabella "Isa" Elaine Lazzara was diagnosed with BPAN, a rare form of childhood dementia, at 13 months old. Her family started the Isa Elaine Foundation to find a cure and to make sure no child faces this disease without hope. We fund a first-of-its-kind BPAN research program at Stanford Medicine, opened the Isa Elaine Foundation Brain Iron Disorders Care Program at UF Health's Norman Fixel Institute, and support families with resources and advocacy. Gifts are tax-deductible (EIN 99-4435144).
